I am a personal development life coach. You would come to me for help with compulsive behavior, provided you weren’t hurting yourself or in need of medical attention.

In order to gain control over compulsive behavior, such as repeating habits over and over on a daily basis, you’ll learn how the brain is able to change. You’ll be amazed how building a new neural pathway is created when you change the smallest step in this habit. As you learn to see the habit differently, you’ll gain control.

Changing Your Perspective

My work is to help you learn to see the habit from a different perspective. I’ll help you practice the technique of getting a degree of distance from yourself and your habit by learning mindfulness and the well-known technique of unlocking the brain.

To begin with, naming your behavior, such as “ That’s the game I play”, helps to distance you just enough to give you perspective. The process involves several more steps that when practiced with mindful attention, results in relief and even success.
