Coaching is not professional mental health care or medical care. By requesting a coach on Life Coach Spotter, you understand that we do not diagnose or treat mental or medical health issues. If you have a mental health condition (for example but not limited to: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, an eating disorder, schizophrenia, addiction and substance abuse, and more) then we advise you to seek a licensed and certified therapist, psychiatrist, or mental health practitioner and not a coach.
Coaching is not the same as licensed counseling or therapy, coaches are not licensed or certified mental health practitioners and we never claim to be, nor do we advocate you using coaching in place of counseling or therapy from a licensed practitioner if you feel you are suffering from a mental illness or addiction.
Coaching and this website are not a substitute for you seeking expertise from specialists in the following fields: all medical, physical and mental health specialties and conditions, psychology and psychological counseling, wellness, therapeutic interventions (including spiritual and/or religious beliefs), diagnostic procedures and screenings, any form of physical or mental health counseling or treatment, or evaluation and treatment from professionals of the healing arts. It is up to you to independently assess any decisions, actions or inactions, resulting from or relating to the website or a coaching experience.
By requesting a coach you are acknowledging that you understand that the coaching services you will be receiving from your coach are not offered as a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental health or medical conditions. You also understand that your coach is not acting as a mental health counselor or a medical professional. You also understand that coaching is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment, and you will not use it in place of any form of therapy.
In order to receive any coaching or consulting services, you accept the above statement and understand that you and only you are responsible for all of the choices you make. At no time is the coach responsible for your choices. Entering into a coaching agreement is an opportunity to enhance the well-being of your life or business through a partnership of co-creating with your coach. A life may offer expert advice in a particular area that is unique to each coach and their background; this is called “consulting”. Coaches may consult as part of their coaching agreement if requested by the client.
