Would it not be amazing to go through life thinking that you are awesome and that the things you do are of great value not only to yourself but to others as well?
 
Would it not also be pretty cool to attract people into your circle who you truly connect with, who love you for you and who encourage you always to be the best you?
 
And wouldn’t life be extra super delicious if you woke up every morning thinking that life is so brilliant that you want to jump out of bed and just get on with the day already?!
 
I think so.
 
I think life would be pretty amazing like that.
 
No, I don’t think… I know life is amazing like that. There is no question or doubt about it.
 
The really wonderful thing is that life can be like that.
 
It is pretty simple to have a life like that.
 
How?
 
You decide that that is the kind of life that you are going to live from now on.
 
Simple – right?
 
But far from easy.
 
Well, in a way I guess it is as easy or as hard as you want it to be. Again this is about deciding that it will be one or the other.
 
In real terms, and I can only speak from my own experience here, it can be truly tough no matter how focused and up for an upgrade you are. Some days it is easy peasy lemon squeezy. Other days it is like pulling a tractor, bus and freight train up a steep hill. And man, oh man, it takes the will power of a hungry elephant to pull through on those days and not fall into old habits and behaviours.
 
If you think it is time for an upgrade in your life, regardless of hungry elephants and all the rest, you got to start!

Here are 5 ways to get you going:

 
Number 1: Start at the beginning

What would make your life super delicious – what are the essential ingredients for you? Because it does not look, feel or sound the same as my super delicious life, I can tell you that. Some of the ingredients might be the same, we are all wired for connection and love for example, but over and above that.? You might answer: “I want to be happy.” Yeah I know, pretty much all of us do. But what is it that makes you happy? Be specific, what are you doing when you are happy, what other feelings are you feeling and who are you with? You want a life of awesomeness – knowing what it is for you is kind of vital in order for you to get there.
 
Number 2: Get a coach, an encourager, a cheerleader extraordinaire

Changing habits and thoughts of a lifetime is not an easy task to take on, but in order to live your kind of wonderful life you need to change some of your habits, limiting thoughts and beliefs and feelings that rule the day and that you are simply swept away with. I would say that most of us need some help and support along the way. Get the support from someone who will not transfer their own fears and judgments onto you and who will not be instrumental in helping you back down from any plan of improving your life and the way you feel on a daily basis.
 
Number 3: Start appreciating the stuff that is already really great in your life

We take so many things for granted and are often blind to the goodness that is already surrounding us.
 
Anything from having a roof over our heads, to food on the table, to a job, to people whom we love and who love us back – most of us are bathing in abundance and luck. Notice, and don’t leave giving thanks for Thanksgiving only, start practicing gratitude every day. There are many ways to do this – go online and find a way that works for you too, or come up with your own version of it. Involve your whole family or do it on your own. Play it any way that works for you, as long as you play it.
 
Number 4: Be thankful for all the great things that are about to happen before they happen

Really following on from number three and turning things up a notch. Yeah, I know. This takes a certain amount (like 63 buckets full) of faith. This can really get your brain into knots because your mind is logically trying to think about it and its attempts to grasp the reality of this will make it exhausted and you will want to give up even before you started. I know. I know. I know. That is why you need to simply be thankful for the wonderfulness that is about to happen in your life and then let go of it. State it, write it down and let go. No analysing.
 
Just allow yourself to believe that your subconscious and the Universe have heard your gratitude and wishes. Your subconscious will guide you towards the things you crave and the Universe will deliver if you are consistent and clear about the things you want.

Number 5: You have to do something and not just something just once

While thinking is great and the first step on any journey, thinking is not enough. You need to do the things that ensure that you live your super delicious life. For example, realising that your confidence levels are holding you back and thinking about a change so that you are not holding yourself back is a vital first step. You are now aware. But if you don’t start actively behaving differently it kind of stays in your head. Take action, manifest things with your behaviour.
 
Remember, taking baby steps forward is great, looking back you will realise that you have leaped miles.
 
So, it is up to you. It always was and always will be. No passing the buck on this one.
 
Enjoy the journey – it will be an interesting one for sure.
 
Be kind to yourself and be kind to those around you.
